We support and guide people in times of major transition ~ their own, or their parent's.

We pack, unpack, set up the new home as the client requests (i.e. put the clothes in the closet, towels on the rack, glasses in the cupboard). We can organize items to be auctioned, consigned, donated to charity or taken to the dump. And, yes, we get rid of the boxes at the end of the day!

We respect clients as family and give them the time and support they need. Their transition experience is the key to our success. We don't just move their old problems to a new location.

  The fact that Annie and I share a last name is immaterial to the amazing service I received from Assisted Transitions.

  My rented storage locker was my Pile Of Denial, and it seethed and stank in the back of my brain for a year or more.

  Then I hired Assisted Transitions to go in there and sort it out. For an incredibly reasonable sum, my Pile Of Denial was turned into something out of an Ikea catalog! Everything clearly sorted, labeled, and packed properly.

  Now, a year later, the effects of Assisted Transitions work are still patently obvious in my storage space, and I actually receive compliments from other people in the storage facility about how organized I am!

  It often sounds disingenuous to say “I couldn’t have done it without you.” But regarding the massively emotional move of my father from Chicago to Seattle, I really and truly could not have done it without you and still be standing here today to talk about it.

  After his prolonged illness, we knew we needed to move my dad closer to family, but I couldn’t imagine actually making it happen. It had been a record-breaking tough year and my reason and good sense were broken in several places. Once we had you and Assisted Transitions on our side, an enormous weight lifted and I could finally let go.

  At every step of the way, from Seattle to Chicago and back again, you were right there with what I needed—be it answers, reassurance, packing tape, or red wine. Wrong boxes? You made the right ones appear. Tough decisions? You provided perspective. And so on.
