I'm a Graphic Designer and Commercial Writer.

I help businesses speak to their market through word and image: from the expressive logo to the hardworking brochure, and everything in-between.

Publication Design is a special focus of mine. I help publishers strengthen their brands by rewarding readers with the rich, memorable, even life-changing experiences that great books provide.

My writing cultivates conversations with customers online and off, conveying real benefits to real people.

My home base is Western PA, from where I serve the region and nation.

I love books: I believe a smartly crafted book supports the reading experience, so I help publishers create a space where readers are happy to spend their valuable time. Covers are a window into the author's world, and well-made pages propel readers in the journey.

I wish to establish relationships with fellow creative pros. I'm excited about Biznik and hope we can mutually grow our businesses as we share and interact.

My experience spans new and "old" media: corporate design, books, and interactive learning for universities and the U.S. government. I recently crept my way among the ranks of filmmakerdom, when no one was looking, by directing the documentary, Army Nurses of World War One, which has aired on a number of PBS stations.

Other experience: I teach about timeless, universal design principles via my podcast, "Design Guy." The show has grown in popularity, garnering enthusiastic user reviews, and was featured as an Apple editorial pick.
