I am a Puerto Rican Black woman, a wife, a mother, and I sing. I have been using my voice all my life and I strive to use it with integrity. I trained at Juilliard and for the past 30 years have sung such roles as Aida, Madama Butterfly and Tosca internationally, also doing Symphonic concerts and recitals. I served on the Board of Music Works Northwest, Ladies Musical Club, and was a commissioner for The King County Arts Commission. I am currently a board member of the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra.   I am amazed at how Awilda can work a group. She's able to pick-up on nuances of a person’s behavior and the tone/infection of their voice after such a short introduction. Many people show a strong emotional response to her comments demonstrating she's right on the money.
  

  I'll bet her one-on-one sessions are incredibly powerful. I recommend anyone that depends on their voice to communicate and reach out to people as friends or business clients to seek out Awilda. That means everyone!   [less]
