Barbara Hinchcliffe, M.Ed., is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington. She has over fifteen years professional training in psychotherapy and counseling. She received her Masters in Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1993 and her Bachelors of Arts in Human Health and Behavior from Evergreen State College in 1988.

She has twenty years training in spiritual healing including extensive training in shamanic consultations and psychic healing.She has worked in a wide variety of settings including family counseling agencies, mental health centers, crisis assessment teams, and psychiatric hospitals. She has provided family therapy services to the State of Washington Child Protective Services and worked as a court appointed social worker for the King County Public Defenders Office.
