  • Versatile Arts Grand Opening - $5 mini aerial lessons!

Those of you who were at the BizJam party heard about the fabulous new space I just leased in Greenwood for my aerial instruction business. Well, the Grand Opening is officially set for August 16 from 1-7 pm and you are all cordially invited to attend. There will be refreshments, aerialists practicing all day, and performances throughout the event by some of my students as well as some of Seattle's best-known professional aerialists. Also...I'll be offering $5 "mini-lessons" on trapeze, rope, and tissu - if you've ever wondered what it's like, this is your chance to give it a try!

Location: The Cathedral in SPACE (a design collective) at 7601 Greenwood Ave N. Entrance on the 76th St side.

    Hope to see you there!

  • show me a sign!

I need a sign - literally! I'm opening up a studio in a new location and need signage for outside the building as well as by the inner door to my space. I'm spending a small fortune on other setup costs so I want something pretty simple with my logo on it. Any recommendation for where to go?

  • Aerialist seeking new studio space

I can't seem to find a better place to post this so apologies if this is inappropriate for this forum....

I'm an aerialist (i.e., trapeze artist) and instructor and am looking to move my business into a dedicated space if I can find one. The problem is...I need at least 20' ceilings with structural beams so that I can hang equipment from them. My dream space would be at least 1000 sq ft, well lit, well heated/ventilated, somewhere in the C.D./Cap Hill/Madrona area but I would settle for almost anything with good parking and access to bus lines. $2000/month would be doable.

I've talked to commercial real estate folks but most of them laugh at me when I start talking about ceiling height. I've got one possible space in Greenwood with 30' ceilings (!!) but it may not prove to be structurally sound enough to rig to. I would greatly appreciate any pointers to possible spaces or to realtors who might be able to help me find what I need.

    Thanks! bev
