What Bill does
I love doing what everyone else hates to do
Tax law is not a sexy trade. However, it is part of every entity's ability to exist and therefore, someone has to do the dirty work. That's what I am here for. In a tax professional I find there are certain crucial qualities you should look for: experience, high quality training, ability to represent clients in front of the IRS, access and trust.
Did you know that selecting the right business entity for your business can potentially save you significant money in taxes and dramatically reduce your chances of audit.
As an Enrolled Agent and experienced tax professional, I do all types of tax returns, including business entities, personal, estates and trusts and non-profits.
As an Enrolled Agent (EA) I am enrolled to practice on behalf of my clients at all levels of the IRS. I am experienced and trained on dealing with the IRS on tax issues, collections, offer-in-compromise and past due returns.
What Bill does best
I am always available to answer tax questions for my clients and even non clients.
I have had excellent results for those clients whom I represented with the IRS. If you are having problems with the IRS give me a call.
I am a small business tax expert with years of experience working with small business owners.
What does Bill need?
I would like to team with other professionals to provide total service to our clients. An ideal team would have professionals who work with small businesses to include: attorney, financial planner, financial services, insurance, real estate, 1031 exchange, marketing, accountant/bookkeeper and other types of small business consutlants.
Education
B.S. in Accounting. Enrolled agent (EA). average 50+ hours of professional training annually.
What is an Enrolled Agent? To become an EA, I passed a comprehensive, two day, four exam series on all aspects of taxation, administered by the IRS. As an EA I am licensed by the Dept of the Treasury to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of the IRS for audits, collection activity and appeals. Only EA's, CPA's, Attorneys and Enrolled Actuaries can represent clients before the IRS.
Experience
I have 10 years exerience as a tax professional. Prior to starting my own tax practice in 2006, I was the Director of an H&R Block Premium office for 6 years. Premium offices provide year-round tax services for individuals, businesses, estate and trusts, as well as providing tax consultation. Over the 10 years I have prepared thousands of tax returns.
