Yay so excited about attending a Biznik event has been waaaay to long!
I don't know if I will be able to attend this event or not but would like to say I would like to see more events that are similar to the seattle events. Ex: Wordpress workshops, web site SEO work shops, having different trades people do workshops ...I guess I am looking for more "training" type events. I like social events as much as the next person but it seems like we have more social events not so many teaching type events.
Sorry I can't make it, having to to take a last minute trip to CA this week and I can't get anymore time off of work. Bliss
YAY I was sooo excited you are repeating this event and I can go. Hooray. Can't wait!
Thank you Naomi for a well written, informative article with even more great info in the comments. I was really sad I missed your class and I do hope you might have a class in the evening one of these days, hint hint ...I am just a part time twitterer but I do like jumping in sometimes.
This is going to be an awsome event hosted by two awsome people, so sad I have to work and miss it. Have a great time everyone!
Thanks Scott for a great, relaxing, low pressure chance to network with the new and the knew...This was a good location and look forward to the next one!
Or you have the twitterer like me who mostly twitters for fun or to share links to things they enjoy, think are useful or worth a laugh. I can't say that my tweets are very useful to all but they do give a small snapshot in the life of Bliss, one of my favorite twitters are zappos. The guy is hilarious and leads an interesting life. I also folllow tweets for stores, city tweets etc, stuff that is useful to me. Thanks for opening up an interesting topic and I will continue to follow my own tweet path.
What a great idea I wish I got off work earlier. I hope you have another later one when the days are longer so I could go (: Lori Padden is great as there are not a lot of big hills and it is beautiful around the lake. Just be prepared for some mud. Bliss
This sounds like a great event (how could it not be with host's like Joy and Tony) but I have a dentist appt (MUCH rather be going to a biznik event) and have to work late. Have fun and hopefully I can catch the next one. January has been a super busy month for me. Bliss
I wish this event was at 12:30 as I wouldn't miss it! I love Thai food and On Rice is great...Not to mention the company and the subject look good too! Maybe next time.
What a great re-energizing event!! One of the best things about Biznik events is the great enery that I get out of each event. So here is my Haiku that I wrote:
Biznik is real great
Meet many contacts online
Soon to become friends
Yay a Holiday event I am actually looking forward to AND I get to try out a new restuarant. bliss
This is a very relevant article and if people are considering gift cards this year they should really make sure they are buying one to a store that is going to be around. That is a hard choice, seems like Target and grocery stores (Trader Joes, Fred Meyers). Thanks for the reminder.
A big thank you to Dan and Lara for coming back to the Bellingham. This was my second "Networking the Biznik Way" event and I was just as captivated as the first. I learned new information this time as there is so much I feel it is definitly worth going to this event more then once. I look forward to trying to make it down to Seattle a few times next year and maybe will even venture to Portland as I hear a rumor that there is a brand new Ambassador who is "lighting some fires (in a good way)" down in that area. Thank you Bliss
This was a very interesting event for me. I think I would agree to disagree on a few things about what James Ray had to say but sometimes these are the people that help you the most. They make you think and he did have many good points and I feel that he truly helps people. I would not pass up seeing him in person. Thank you Merideth for introducing me to such a thought provoking speaker and thank you Jim for the great place to watch a movie, I couldn't believe that big comfy office chair actually reclined! bliss ps the organic homemade pumpkin bread was pretty good to.
As I am responsible for marketing Tom's business and always in need of new ideas this was a great presentation. I knew nothing about Joomla and now I am happy to say I will look seriously into using it over the next year. Tony's presentation was well organized and thought out. Thank you Bliss
I just wanted to confirm what I already knew going into this event...that is was AWSOME. I have just pulled my meal of turkey chili out of the freezer to defrost for dinner tonight and it made me think of the OODA loop and how I am already trying to put it into practice in small ways. It was a technique that I already strive to practice but it is nice to have it confirmed and defined. So thank you again to Scott for the great tools, Dave for the tasty cheese and wine and Evelyn for the meal and future dinners! bliss
I just wanted to thank everyone for coming tonight, I had such a great time, I don't have any voice left from cheering people on...Thanks Jane and Tom for being great Co-Hosts.
I am excited to learn more about James Arthur Ray and I get to see a movie, what a great night, looking forward to it. bliss
