What Bob does
My wife and I own Pizza Works. It is a small, independent Pizza Restaurant on Juanita Drive on Finn Hill in the Kenmore / Bothell / Kirkland area, just down the road from Bastyr University and St. Edwards State Park.
We purchased the restaurant from the original owner in 2005 and are trying to grow the business back to where it was 10 years ago. We are still making the excellent gourmet pizzas that Pizza Works has been known for in the Kenmore (and formerly Woodinville) area.
We cater to those who want more than just a slab of pizza dough with a handful of toppings. We make our own sauce, purchase par baked thin, thick or whole wheat pizza crust and combine them with high grade toppings to make one of the best pizzas around. In addition we have Grinders, Calzones, Breadsticks, Spaghetti and Salads.
We have always had Soy Cheese for our lactose intollerent customers. We have expanded the philosophy of catering to people who couldn't or wouldn't normally have pizza by adding several new items.
We have Wheat / Gluten Free pizza crusts in all our sizes, made by 3 different Gluten Free bakeries. All our wheat free items are prepared on a separate prep table and cooked in a dedicated wheat free oven. We also have Wheat / Gluten free desserts from several sources.
For Vegans, we have Vegan Gourmet (Follow Your Heart / Earth Island) Soy Cheese and Field Roast Grain Meat Toppings, along with an assortment of fresh and prepared vegetables.

What does Bob need?
We need hungry customers ready for a better than average traditional pizza, a gourmet pizza, or a special needs pizza - Wheat / Gluten free, Soy Cheese. Bring your stomachs for dining in, take a baked pizza with you or take one home and bake it at your leasure.
Education
My wife, Janice (Brown) Gerrish and I are both graduates of The Evergreen State College in Olympia.
Janice has a BS in microbiology and I have a BA in environmental field biology with a smattering of ethnobotany and A/V media.
Experience
Our restaurant experience has been growing here, at Pizza Works, since 2005. Our food experience before that was dining out and enjoying cooking various styles at home when we had time.
At one point, we had a small natural farm in the Kirkland area, sold produce at the Redomnd Saturday market, raised chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese, sold farm fresh eggs and took kiddies on pumpkin patch tours in the fall.
I have run my own business off and on for years. Starting with a Janitorial Service while in college. An environmental consulting firm for a short time after college. And a computer consulting business for many years.
