During the week, I'm a full time, licensed, general contractor specializing in maintenance and repair of residential structures; my company is Oregon's Home Handyman, LLC. Every Saturday, from noon to 2, I get to host the radio show, Around the House with Handyman Bob. At least, that's the way it all began. Now, I find I'm working as a handyman a lot less and as a radio host a whole lot more. About 20 hours each week are devoted to lining up guests, show prep, recording commercials, and actual on-air broadcasting.
