--- DUES ---------------------
--------------------------------
This is currently a non-paying, invitation-only group. This may change in the future depending on the direction this takes off in.
--------------------------------
--- RULES --------------------
--------------------------------
-
Be open, honest, and respectful.
All of us are gifted with strengths and weaknesses. We are all here for a unified reason: to learn more about marketing and promoting ourselves. Not everyone will agree with every method presented. Not all methods will work for one as they do for another. We are here to grow together and respect each other’s pace. Also, please don’t try to impress us, if you have no idea what you are talking about. ;) -
Be inquisitive!
If you don’t know, ask! We are all here to learn and that requires not only presenting information, but also asking questions. Don’t be shy! Here there is truly NO such thing as a “stupid question.” This is how we learn. If something sounds silly or obvious to you, it may not be such to another member. -
Promote yourself.
Biznik has its own 5% rule about not talking yourself up for more than a moment here and there. Luckily, with groups they have thrown caution to the wind. In this group you can talk yourself up as much as you like, as long as it's relevant, you are benefiting others and you can BACK IT UP! We’re here to help each other, not waste valuable time. -
Go to MTC events.
We are all busy. No one can show up to every event – not even the moderator. We all should try to meet up on occasion to make the connections that much stronger. Meeting in person also helps to promote sharing the work-wealth with colleagues, generating referrals, and creating authentic relationships. -
No expectations.
It would be great if we decide to hire each other through this group based on the amount of helpful, friendly interactions, but that cannot be expected. All we can anticipate is the possibility of learning new, creative and informative methods of marketing ourselves professionally to grow our businesses.
--------------------------------
--- EVENTS ------------------
--------------------------------
All members may list events for FREE and as often as they like. In return, we ask that the events be relevant to the group's theme.
ACCEPTABLE:
- Educational Courses and Workshops (marketing, branding, pr, media, photography, web, video, radio) [<$50 entry charge, <$100 if co-hosted with TMC]
- Conferences [<$400 entry charge]
- Social Mixers [no entry charge]
- Networking Gatherings [no entry charge]
NOT ACCEPTABLE:
Events where the basis is solely to generate revenue for the host and not truly benefit the members. Think: Mary Kay, Passion Parties, Affiliate Programs, anything with a downline/upline, etc.
-------
Please note that unless an event is hosted or co-hosted by the moderators, any proceeds are going strictly to the host of that event and not to the community at this time.
All events hosted by the moderators of TMC that generate revenue will go to creating better events in the future for our members.
--------------------------------
--- UPDATES -----------------
--------------------------------
Updates will be implemented on an as-needed basis.

Hi All;
Thanks to Bill Doerr for the invite! 2 years ago, after 30 years, I sold my pipeline sales development company, and work part time for the new owner.
We help small to mid sized business build a systematic new customer development pipeline. Our mission is to act as a lead development company that produces leads that match our client’s needs and abilities.
Most companies want new customers and spend a great deal of marketing resources finding and developing interested prospects.
We can provide that basic service. Our “sweet spot” is that many business do not have a flushed out sales team that will (and knows how to) move an INTERESTED prospect along the sales process into the CONVICTION, DESIRE and CLOSE steps.
Most business are looking for high quality, committed, ready to buy, check in hand new customers. An INTERESTED prospect usually doe’s not match that definition.
We coach, and can actually implement the sales steps, tools and tactics necessary to build an effective sales pipeline utilizing the steps --- ATTENTION, INTEREST, CONVICTION, DESIRE, and CLOSE.
Contact me, I love to talk about this!
Ray Tuttle
