I'm a psychotherapist, specializing in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is an advanced psychotherapy model that combines psychology with physiology in a way that allows a person to identify and “clear” past traumatic events. These events can be as seemingly insignificant as a childhood bee sting, or as catastrophic as a life-threatening event. We often forget they ever happened, and have no idea that they are the actual cause of our current problems.

  EMDR is the fastest way to get rid of a phobia, break a bad pattern or enhance your performance. And Brena is the best at it. I don’t know how she does it, but blocks and barriers just go away. I send clients and colleagues to her all the time. She really does great work!   [less]

  I can’t say enough good things about Brena and EMDR without writing a page or two! EMDR is amazing stuff!! After going through years of talk therapy, I have found that both Brena and EMDR get to the root of the problem more quickly and completely, processing the trauma in a session or two rather than months or years or never. I began seeing Brena for my fear of heights and found that EMDR worked for that and much, much more. EMDR is truly awesome!
