So it is official, in 2009 there will be a striking increase in the number of Generation Yers and Xers in the work place when compared to the year 2000. The increase will have grown from a simple 45 million in 2000 to over 60 million in 2009. For what it is worth, I am worried.
I am concerned that companies are not prepared to work with and market to Gen Y and X due to the huge "Gap" in the way we all communicate. As the number of Generation Yers and Xers continues to increase over the next decade to well over 100 million in the work force, the need to better understand this generation grows.
Part of that understanding deals with your personal story as well. what is your experience when dealing with Generations Y and X? Have you had difficulties with this group? There are planty of stories to share, trust me.
