Mr. Armstrong has experience representing clients in litigated matters involving employment law/employer liability, products liability, personal injury, insurance, business litigation, professional liability, contractor liability/construction defect litigation, common carrier liability, and aviation accidents.

Mr. Armstrong regularly assists clients with employment and personnel issues and disputes through the drafting and review of employment/HR policies and employee handbooks, by providing seminars and training on employment law topics, and through the investigation and defense of charges and claims before the Washington State Human Rights Commission and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Armstrong also represents employers in the defense of litigated employment/employer liability claims.

Mr. Armstrong also has an active appellate practice and has successfully prosecuted and defended appeals in various areas, including workplace safety/catastrophic injury, municipal liability, insurance coverage, guardianship, probate, and the protection of vulnerable adults. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Armstrong served for two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Mary Kay Becker of Division One of the Washington State Court of Appeals.
