Bridget was the 'Built Environment' guild coordinator for Sustainable Ballard (2006-2009). Bridget's accomplishments through the Guild include coordination of classes on green roofs, reclaimed and recycled materials, and disaster preparedness. Community Work

Bridget was the 'Built Environment' guild coordinator for Sustainable Ballard (2006-2009). Bridget's accomplishments through the Guild include coordination of classes on green roofs, reclaimed and recycled materials, and disaster preparedness. She provided 'green building' panel discussions and green building tours with many low impact features including a water catchment system. She was on the 14th Ave NW Visioning committee where a new vision was created for 1 mile of arterial; street clean ups were held and through SB, an information kiosk was built. She organized events for neighborhood planning discussions. Bridget has additionally collaborated on projects with the NW Eco-building Guild. Bridget received a Ballard Service Award, 'The Thing' (for amazing hands reaching out to others), by the Ballard District Council.
