Since 2000, I have helped startup clients raise more than $15 million in investment capital. I combine a broad business background, strong communication skills, and long-time connections to the Seattle venture community. I excel at refining business strategy and developing winning business plans.

I also provide business coaching services for entrepreneurs. (I operate from my home office on Whidbey Island and travel to the Seattle & Bellevue area frequently for meetings with clients.)

Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Florida State University. Graduate studies in law (University of Florida and Ohio State University) and perceptual psychology (University of Washington).

I have experience in four broad areas that helps me achieve positive results with clients.

1. Written Communication. I have written two books, numerous magazine articles, and more technical and marketing documents than I could ever remember.

2. Business Experience. I have decades of experience in both large firms and startups companies working in a variety of fields, including management, marketing, sales, technology, and finance.

3. Technology. I have been involved in aerospace engineering, computer hardware and software, and many other technologies. I have written two science books (one on CD technology, the other on solar eclipses), and I have applied as a co-inventor for one patent.

4. Personal Development. I am a lifelong learner, participant, and facilitator in numerous forms of personal development work to create a healthy balance of heart, mind, body, and soul.
