Steve,
Thanks for a great strategic interpretation of Facebook's Open Stream initiative.
One issue from a personal point of view: can I elect to have photos or videos I post on my profile kept private, i.e., not available to any Open Stream app?

Thanks, all, for your kind feedback. As you know by now, I really love talking to startup entrepreneurs about business strategy and planning :)
And thanks to Peter Chee and the folks at ThinkSpace for providing the meeting space.
Great tips, Steve, especially about feed rinse. I have a client who can start using this right away. Very powerful way to harness RSS to help build a continual stream of new content, which in turn raises your SE rankings.
All the other tips are solid advice. Love the way you weave your own personal examples into the article.
Good luck with the designer jeans online store.
Sorry I can't make this event tonight with two of my favorite colleagues I have know for years now. I wrote a business plan for Steve a few years back, and he really knows his marketing stuff. And "Z" is a great presenter and teacher (and dancer, too!).
Great article, Mark. I especially like your strategic way of thinking through the problem to arrive at real solutions.
I highly recommend Elizabeth Mance. She specializes in small businesses and is very helpful and professional.
Thanks, Daniel, for a great list. And, yes, Yugma works great -- as it did when you showed me the mockups for my new web site last week. Very easy to use.
Great approach to combining promo materials and blog entries. I am having my site redesigned in this way this month.
