I am an "administrative guide." I help independent creatives learn how to manage the administration of their businesses using right- instead of left-brain strategies through workshops and individual consultation.

For me, creativity and getting organized are much the same thing. In both cases, it's all about seeing pattern and repetition, grouping like with like, putting things in order - and bringing that into new, previously unimagined forms.

Because of my unusual knack for moving between the intuitive and the linear with relative ease, I consider myself "bilingual," and a good translator between right- and left-brain worlds.

I love serving as a tour guide to right-brainers who want to visit that left-brain world and better understand what it has to offer their businesses, then learn how they can bring back some of those essential benefits and integrate them into their creative endeavors.

I have been helping self-employed professionals get in gear since 2004.

Originally established to provide virtual assistance, Third Hand Works now offers workshops and private consultation in business administration to independent creatives.

As a virtual assistant my work was quite varied - my clients included a a professional storyteller, a creativity coach, a ceramic artist, several landscape architects and designers, a television producer, a wealth counselor/speaker/author, a property developer, a furniture wholesaler, and an import/export consultant.

In the years prior to launching Third Hand Works, I provided administrative support to architects, urban planners, landscape architects, arts organizations, galleries, educators, and retailers.
