Next Steps for NYC

So after the rousing success of the last event, it sounds like it's time for another. There's one coming up in LIC. And I hear talk that one may be coming up in Long Island. But what do people want for the next Manhattan one?

What days/times/places? I think we can find some restaurants that might want to have us on a quiet Monday evening, but I wanted to see if there were other suggestions.

And is anyone interested in an event in Brooklyn?

Also, if anyone else is interested in hosting an event, and you need anything, let me know. I'd be happy to help.

Promotions

I added a promotion through my profile page. I thought it might also end up in the promotions forum, but it doesn't. I'm wondering if anyone can explain more about the two separate places to put promotions, so I know where to put mine in the future.

NYC Biznik events?

I've been reading all these posts about great experiences people are having at events. I'm in NYC, and when I went to check for events in this area, it turns out there are none. (Well, unless I want to travel 464 miles...)

Any other NYC Biznikers interested in getting some events happening? I'm not sure I can commit to start up anything myself, but I would be happy to go, and I might be able to help.

Anyone else have a chance to get to the Greener Gadgets conference on Friday in NYC? I thought it was pretty good, and I was wondering what other people thought.
