Another common mistake is forgetting the weight of a box. "You don't have to fill it up, keep the weight of your boxes reasonable". Put heavy things like books in small boxes so they will be easier to carry.

"Most people over tape, they forget that tape can damage items if it is applied directly to certain finishes". Removing the tape could ruin the surface. It is also important to use the right type of tape for the right job. "While this seems very logical, you would be surprised at what our employees see taped!"

Don't worry about the cost of a box. Double-box fragile items and make sure to add plenty of packing material. "Ten dollars worth of packing material can save a $3000 piece of art".
