  • Phil, funny you should ask. I had this agent that used to call and leave marathon messages during our 30 day close. I finally changed my message to include, please leave a SHORT message etc... Then she left messages saying "oh you want a short message" and then would continue to ramble. Thankfully the deal closed and she went away. Some people just don't get it.

  • Thank you Larry, as a Realtor I keep looking for the answer to "What about me?". I am looking for an absolute, something to hang my hat on and your description been the closest I have seen. I appreciate it.

  • Thank you for the great explanation. As a Realtor since 1996 I must say the comsumer must bare some responsibility in this. We have seen byers, lie, cheat and steal to get into a home they could not afford. After showing buyers homes they COULD afford they go on their own to open houses and sit with the sellers agent who gets them a "financing deal". Buyers must be responsible for purchaising over their heads and hoping for the best. I do agree if the lenders were not so "accomodating" many people would not be in this mess.

  • I am with Key Bank also. They have a fabulous Women's Business Group and they know my name when I go in to do business. I am all about that. I don't think I pay any fees, but I can't be sure, I am a Realtor with no money so I don't balance anything. If I go over, they will cover me and call. It is the highlight of my life at the moment.

  • So are you all coming to the company picnic AFTER the symposium? Someone needs to take notes and fill me in.

  • I love " collaboration beats compitition " and "beyond business" is very true. I have met some really great people. I would never have had the opportunity to meet people like Joe Hage, Julie Veron, Allissa Hui, Terra Vita, Aaron Janus and countless others. It is beyond business, they may or may not ever do real estate with me but my life is richer with all of those people in it.

  • Well, I belong to a Women's Networking group and I wanted to introduce Biznik but the powers that be would not let me introduce it because of the the "Networking That Doesn't Suck" slogan. I was miffed at first, then acknowledged some of our senior members and I understood why they black balled my contribution. Our generation has been de sensitized to the word "suck" but some older less hip folks may find it harsh. I have been scolded at the group for some of my best jokes. I need sensitivity training or less wine.

  • Rats, I have a table at the Company Picnic that day. I would love to be able to share a new program I signed up for called www.miles4realestate.com It is just a little something extra sellers can offer buyers. Will you be having this again? Thank you for offering such a great event.

  • Since you gave them options to choose from, it limits the creative thought pattern. In the future don't offer options, let the creativity flow. I am very happy with Biznik and I don't care what they call me as long as they call me!

  • Although I too would have answered the survey as self employed, I would prefer someting more creative. On the survey did you give them options or did they provide the answers of "self employed", "freelancer" or "solopreneur" them selves?

  • I would really like to attend this event but the drive from Snohomish to Seattle and parking is such a drag for this small town girl.

  • I am not vilifying anyone. The folks in jail did that for themselves. I am saying I don't care where they get their benefits as long as I don't have to pay for it. I is my money and I want it. Let the majority pay for their own and then the insuance companies will have to compete for our business instead of us begging and pleading. Social Security is in the same basket. Congress is in no hurry to fix the SS becuase they don't collect. They are guaranteed their salaries until they die. If they had to depend on SS, I bet they would get their butts in gear. The same is with insurance, the decision makers are in no hurry becuase their families are not hurting. We are not hurting for insurance right now either because of Buddy's insurance. But I am worried about people that are not married to Buddy and don't have insurance. When Buddy retires, I guess I could rob a bank and then get medical, after all it is only a mistake.
