  • I'm so sorry. I received 3 "panic orders" yesterday and I have to get them done. I'll shoot for next time.

  • I am coming and bringing a friend of mine that works for an accounting firm. I look forward to meeting everyone. Neither of us are in the health care field, I am an artist and do signage and also jewelry and custom gift baskets, (but I guess the gift baskets often make people feel better). See you then.

  • Great article Joanne! And that is something I am working on also.
I am in the process of finishing your books (along with everything else) but I have to say your books are great reading and very inspiring and your words give you that extra push to make you think and look ahead.........in a big way! Thank-you! Carolyn

  • Great article. Alot of it boils down to a very human approach to dealing with your clients and others around you. Just "being nice" and saying hello can truly brighten someone's day enough for them to remember you the next time they need you or someone asks them for a recommendation. And goodness knows at this gloom and doom time those simple niceties can go along way!

  • I can definitely relate to everything that you said. I am also shy. Going to these functions and "putting myself out there" is something I'm really working on. Your words gave it a nice feel the next time I'm at one of these events I will think of them.

  • I'm glad I saved this article until I had time to read it. The entire time I was saying, "that's so true". And it was written in such a wonderful possitive way. Thank-you!
