  I DETEST marketing. I don't understand how it works, my stabs at it have been miserable failures, and I don't have any money to waste on more mistakes. That's why I sent Cassie an SOS, and why I loved her approach to marketing and our brainstorming meeting and me! She gave me the perfect balance of taking-charge, hand-holding, and following-up. At the end of the meeting I made her the head of my marketing department (me), and told her to be the boss. She sent me a great recap of our ideas and a homework assignment. I'll keep you posted on the results in the coming weeks, but for now I know the 2-3 next steps I need to make to make a positive change in the way I do business. As a result I no longer feel hopeless, overwhelmed, or rudderless regarding marketing. And that's a very, VERY good first step!   [less]
