It's not often that someone gets to combine two passions into one livelihood, but that's exactly what Chad Brown of Chado Advertising & Design has managed to do. Putting his love of art and design together with an abiding love for the outdoors, Chad carved a niche creating marketing campaigns for the outdoor industry when he created Presher Design in New York City.

With his new Portland-based firm, Chado Advertising & Design, Chad is taking on a wider range of clients but still holds to his motto of "Think Outside," both in work and in play. Whether scaling mountains in Africa or Antarctica, or fly-fishing near his home base of Portland, the native Texan has never lost touch with the belief that marketing is reaching out to real people with real lives, real passions, and real feelings.

I do out of the box thinking, and visual communication design problem solving. I'm very unconventional in my approach to solving a communication problem visually and conceptually. In the mean time I flyfish like MAD CRAZY!!!!!! Chasing wild trout and steelhead in the summer, winter, fall, and spring. In between times, I come up with creative ways of tying flies to imitate mother nature in catching fish! And of course I release them, but only when I 'm not hungry. This to me is what I call balance. I draw my creativity from the world around me, listening to the finest music while mother nature has to offer fishing on the river. (There is an life outside of my profession)

I need to connect with companies who are looking to grow; companies that are launching a product and seeking to develop an image or create a brand awareness. I am interested in small to medium sized businesses who are struggling to establish their identity or brand, or who know they must reposition themselves so they survive in this crazy visual stimuli world of today. I also want to connect with like-minded people who can provide necessary support for the projects of Chado Advertising and Design.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from American Intercontinental University of Atlanta, Georgia

Masters of Science in Communication Design from Pratt Institute of Manhattan, New York City.
