FINANCIAL FREEDOM: MONEY IS A SLAVE

Financial pressure is something that affects us all everyday of our lives...money hold mystery-AYN

I was walking down the street one day and I saw a naked man. Obviously, he was insane. What provoked my thought was not the insanity, but the fact that he was begging for money despite his condition. Then it struck me that even an insane person wants to be financially free. His nakedness notwithstanding he is conscious of financial freedom.

Financial freedom could be explained in so many ways. I know the first thing that comes to mind is having abundant of money to meet all your needs. Of course money is crucial, but If all you are thinking about is to have abundant of money you may never be free.  If you fret about your finances too you may turn away money

Eleanor Roosevelt said: "He who loses money, loses much; He who loses a friend, loses much more; He who loses faith, loses all." Because of incessant approach to financial freedom, many people have lost priceless resources. Lost faith in what they are doing , lost faith in themselves and never experience financial freedom.

Because it is difficult to talk about finances without talking about money let's discuss some sensitive things about money.

If money be not thy servant, it will be thy master. Francis Bacon

You are supposed to send money to where you don't need to go, but if money has taken the position of the master he will send you to where you don't belong, and you are running a risky race. You must control money, you must never lose control because of money and you must never allow money to control you.

If you focus on money you will lose sight of things that brings financial freedom. The secret of money is for you to attract it, but if you are the one chasing it you cannot catch-up with it. Some people have positioned themselves in such a way that money is always looking for them everywhere, every time, while some people are sweating, struggling, chasing money, yet they are not free.

When I was12years, my grandfather told me something I never forgot. He said money is like a bird, when you catch it, you must remove the wings so that it won't fly away. "Grandpa how do I remove the wings" I asked  "By investing it or just buy something valuable with it, if not it will fly and disappear forever.

Hill and Stone in their book Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude wrote: 'Money can beget money, and its offspring can beget more,' and so on.

I also discover that: Money makes money, the money money makes, makes more money. I see money as a female and you as the male. there must be a meeting point before your money can give birth  to more, if you do the wrong thing with it, money will not beget more for you. 

THE  MILLIONAIRE'S MIND- SET.

The major difference between poor people and rich people is that, rich people think every time about the future, but poor people always think of now.

Every money that comes to anybody with a millionaire mind- set is a seed. But the poor sees it as food. The Poor are always anxious about how to reap (even when they did not sow any seed) .The rich works, relax and wait for harvest. Poor people spend and still beg. The rich invest and still gives. The rich are always bothered about tomorrow, but the poor only think of now. There is an Hausa proverb that says "mu chi mu mu tu" which means: let's finish it now and die! Rich men think of the impact he could make and what to leave for the next generation. The Poor thinks of today's survival.

Bill Gate only got an idea of what to do for his Generation and he ended up enjoying financial freedom. He created a product that almost everybody needs. Now money looks for him everywhere. He is so rich that if $1000 bills should drop off him, it's a waste of time bending down picking it. He would have spent at least 4 seconds picking it and it's estimated that he makes about $300 a second.

HOW CAN YOU BE FINANCIALLY FREE?

• Have an idea; good idea will set you on financial pedestal
• Don't think of money, think of goods or services and money will follow. 
• Begin to create money through innovation.
• Sow money; anything you need more and you have less, start giving it and more will return.
• Never harm others because of money
• Be steady , do not be despirate and seek peace always
• Become a solution to other people's challenges.
