In his practice at Park South Dental in New York City, Dr. Charles Silk, D.D.S., a prosthodontist, spends his days doing reconstructive and cosmetic dental work for clients who need crowns, dentures, dental implants or porcelain veneers. Prosthodontists are considered the architects of the dental care industry. Dr. Charles Silk's immaculate and complex dental techniques have attracted the likes of many celebrities, including actors and actresses as well as fashion models. Dr. Charles Silk' DDS's work has appeared on the cover of several fashion magazines. Charles Silk DDS' dental education began at New York University College of Dentistry, where he was a student from September of 1979 to June of 1983. Charles studied general dentistry and then focused specifically on prosthodontics.

Charles Silk DDS gave back to the students at New York University College of Dentistry by becoming a full-time administrator. At the university, Dr. Charles Silk DDS is an associate clinical professor; while a module director he managed 32 students and 15 faculty members. The students studied under the tutelage of one of the most prestigious and talented prosthodontists today. Dr. Charles Silk DDS helps the students train and gave them the opportunity to become prosthodontists themselves.

Aside from giving his time to his profession of dentistry, Dr. Charles Silk DDS also donates funds toward breast cancer research as well as participates in activities that raise awareness about breast cancer. Though he always seems to be busy working and helping others, Charles Silk DDS takes time out for himself and his family.
