Sunday February 1-2PM Artist Reception Campaign Memorabilia Viewing and Discussion

Our first show of 2009 at C Art Gallery captures the images, effects and hope of the election of President Barack Obama and other significant movements in political history as interpreted by visual artists.

Political Reflections brings together artists from Seattle, all over the U.S., and internationally to look back on meaningful experiences in history and inspire audiences with hope for the year 2009. The exhibit includes work by Esperanza Grundy, Elizabeth Halfacre, Joachim Mcmillan, Stan Chraminski, Andrew Phillips, Judy Sauer, Andrea Savar, Debbie Savar and Cheri Kopp and runs through February 16th, 2009.

Please join us for an artist reception as we share personal Obama campaign memorabilia and discuss how the new administration will impact our lives and the history of this nation Sunday February 1st at 2PM.

Be sure to stop in next door at the Hiawatha Artspace newest edition, Café Vita!

If you are in need of a location to have an event or would like help coordinating an event with a visual arts component give us a call. We are always searching for great artists whose work addresses the missioin of the gallery "to incite dialogue and promote cultural diversity through their work." We can also support an event with our "Art of Tea" collection and coordinate a tea tasting for small or large groups. [less]
