What Chris does
I am the Campaign Treasurer for Sigler For Seattle.
Sigler For Seattle is the political organization sponsoring Norman Sigler in his 2009 run for Mayor of the City of Seattle.
Aside from voting, I have actively avoided politics for my entire life until Norman threw his hat in the ring for Seattle City Mayor. I'm tired of wondering what the Mayor really does and, as a small business owner, I often fail to see where I am really represented in local politics and I feel my vote is often ignored. "The money" is important, but I believe it is well past time to stop kowtowing to the few big players at the expense of the majority of the population.
Norman Sigler is committed to building community throughout Seattle and listening to everyone in order to implement positive change. He is a man who truely impresses me. I'm happy he's running, I'm glad to be supporting him, and as promised us long ago, I belive he will make Seattle the City of the Future!
What Chris does best
I keep the campaign on the straight and narrow!
What does Chris need?
First and foremost, we need PEOPLE!
Running a successful campaign requires emmense support. We need a lot committment from a few and little committment from MANY! Check out the Sigler For Seattle website (above). Learn about Norman and do what you can: Follow the campaign. Volunteer your time for the campaign. If you're on Facebook, become a fan of the campaign. Watch for campaign events on Biznik - and attend them, of course. * Spread the good word by telling all your friends about your next Mayor...!!
In an ideal world, political campaigns would be about people - not money. In this world, they are about both. We know the economy is tight but, to drive real change in Seattle, we need a little change! Every little bit helps so, again, visit the Sigler For Seattle website with special attention to the DONATE link!
Thanks for all your support - in what ever form it takes!
