Vancouver, BC Biznik Underway

We had our Vancouver Kick-Off last night where both Dan and Lara, co-founders of Biznik, taught us how to use Biznik to build our small businesses using social media. I learned so much and have already made changes to my profile that is increasing visibility and connections. I encourage you to get involved, attend a local Vancouver event, and contact me with any suggestions or ideas for local events.

One of simple tips we learned was to make sure your category described what you do. Several people had described themselves as “owners” which really does not describe your work. To maximize a search, be sure to list yourself in the way a potential client would search for you. That was one of many great tips shared.
