    Putting a "timer" on Bookmarks?

I like to be available to my clients when they need me, but I also like to attend Biznik events... so when I see a Biznik Event that I might want to attend, I use the Bookmark feature to note it, and if I have no clients conflicts 2-3 days before the event, then I RSVP for it.

But this is a system that requires me to keep going back to my Bookmarked Events list on a semi-regular basis and checking it manually.

It would be nice if I could put a "timer" or reminder on a Bookmark: "Remind me about this Event on 01-15-2010".

That reminder would simply create an email in my Biznik mailbox that would have a brief line of text and a link to the event. Maybe something like: "This email is an automatic reminder you set for this event: [URL goes here]"

I realize you have your hands busy with lots of other features and functionality, but a tickler function like this would be handy...

Social Media consultant and Message Craftsman

    Hello again, Biznik!

My name is Christian Jacobsen and I am a social media consultant working under my company name, Boomba Chicken!

For decades I have worked in the chasm of misunderstanding between geeks and non-technical people. Now, under the auspices of Boomba Chicken, I help small business owners understand how they can use social media in a practical and sustainable way, with the goal of growing their business.

(Some of you may recognize me from a brief stint working for Biznik, and I am happy to make all your acquaintances again!)

Please take a moment to check out my Biznik Profile, and my web site. I can help you craft a message that is appropriate for the social media world, determine where to put that message, and how to use the tools in a way that is compatible with your day to day life.

Let's work together to help you gain clarity in your business communications!
