I'm so glad! Many companies don't have the money for usability studies, but forget to keep a close pulse on their customers' needs.

I'm so glad! Many companies don't have the money for usability studies, but forget to keep a close pulse on their customers' needs.
Hi there - thought I would introduce myself too, as I'm relatively new...
I feature sustainable companies (triple bottom line organizations) in various blogs I'm writing.
Here are a few samples: http://socialventurelabs.wordpress.com/category/company-profiles/
here is one i featured most recently on biznik, stop by and give it a rating! http://biznik.com/members/christine-haskell/articles/business-school-experiment-pays-offhow-green-cleaning-became-a-platform-for-customer-experience
If you think of any companies I should profile, let me know!
there's somewhat of a TMI aspect to Facebook though and I think people are starting to better compartmentalize their behavior accordingly.
Biznik and linked in are successful in drawing information based queries. Facebook tries to straddle this, leaving one with an experience that can get mixed reviews.
You might see a neat forum or a neat article and then continually get updates that the author "received a can of whoop ass" from his wife.
Did I need to know that? (probably not)
I've met with both these fabulous ladies - anyone who is a sustainable, triple bottom line company looking to be featured, please contact me through social venture labs: http://socialventurelabs.com/contact.aspx
perfect! thanks - keep the recommendations coming!
