What Cindy does
Discovering self-realization. I help you to recognize you are not a body or mind. These are your tools, your instruments. Developing your will, strenthening your attention, knowing your desires. I help you realize what is blocking you from your inner peace, pure joy, pure unconditional love, pure bliss and on to ecstacy. Discover and utilize mind, body and spirit to it's fullest potential.
What Cindy does best
Help people who are wealthy but without joy and or inner peace. They know money and money making is not all there is to life. Expanding the mind, expanding the possibilties both for the inner and outer being. Exploring the possibilities given their body, mind and spirit. A private discovery of who and what they are and what the Universe is to them.
What does Cindy need?
There is absolutely nothing I need.
Education
Licensed. Certified. Is there anywhere, with anyone or at anytime we are not in the midst of a teacher with the opportunity to learn? I continue to learn each and every day. Hopefully. If I'm paying attention. Strictly speaking, studied at The Ananda Institute, Yoga Center,Samadhi Studio, Greenwood Yoga Studio, world renowned Patricia Walden and Rodney Yee as well as Pure Fitness and Meikos. I've read countless books on the subject of Yoga and spiritual journey materials. Subscribe to Yoga Journal and Body and Soul magazines. I receive an e-mail from Prevention each day. Continue to tune into health related programs on television, The Science Channel and the UW channels.
Currently enrolled in a class called Awaken the Superconscious. The Superconscious is that wonderful area where we know for sure that we indeed are all ONE and the omni-presence isn't just something we've read in book but have actually experienced. Peace. Recently started learning a fairly new style of yoga called AcroYoga. It is a combination of yoga, thai massage and acrobatics. A nice challenge for a yogi....a chance to use all of that strength and flexiblity while adding more. The best education is life experience with the understanding it is neverending.
Experience
Yoga is the art and science of life. Experiencing life as both art and science is well worth the journey. I was introduced to yoga 20 years ago. Practiced (Raja Yoga) , the mind/spirit connection for 6 years before beginning the Hatha yoga(physical postures). Adding the body to the experience of yoga is like learning to play a musical instrument. A very powerful, beautifully creative and intelligent instrument. I enjoy bringing yoga to the workplace. Children's Hospital , Stockcharts. I make it convenient for those who live in Condo's by practicing right there in their quarters. I enjoy teaching seniors as well and work with them at a local Senior Center. I teach as an employee at the local YMCA both the All Levels as well as the Intermediate/Advanced practicioners. I have taught at a youth home for troubled teens. the YWCA, a program for women who have been in domestic abuse situations. Private lessons as well. My experience in both learning and teaching yoga is varied. Just the way I like it. I have studied Iyengar, Purna, Astanga, Raja, Gnani, Karma, Bhatki, Dosha and Viniyoga. My teaching is a modge podge of all of the above.
