  • Symtoms of Ecstatic Love

Bhatki yoga is Yoga of Devotion or Love for the Devine.

According to The Nectar of Devotion Sub-Titled The Complete Science of Bhatki Yoga symptoms of an ecstatic love for the devine may surprise you.

The symptoms are disturbing for the person experiencing them and those around the individual.

Envy, anxiety, pride, jealousy, conclusion, cowardliness, forgiveness, impatience, hankering, regret, doubtfulness and impudence.

If you or anyone you know is experiencing these phenomena, just be reassured it is the downside of ecstatic love for the devine.

We speak in yoga of getting closer to pure unconditional love, pure inner peace, pure joy and pure bliss. Next comes the ecstasy!!!! Just be aware of the pitfalls.

Peace and Harmony to all, yoga guide

  • A Call for Support

Some years ago I went through a very heart breaking experience. I was in both physical and emotional pain, lying on the love seat when I felt a definite, what I would have to call devine energy in front of me. It was comforting me. I couldn't hear out loud but very much felt as though the energy was saying, It's ok. Everything will be alright. Very comforting and unexpected. A strong but gentle energy. Now, I am going through another difficulty. Ending a twenty year relationship. The communication is at meltdown. It has affected the whole family including extended family. It's extremely hard to write and ask for your support and words of encouragement but that is what I am moved to do at this time. We that are there for inspiration and encouragement for others sometime need a dose of that ourselves, now it is that time for myself. I know the outcome will be positive it is just getting over this painful hump, I could use a little propping up. Thank you ladies for any words you can share. Peace.~~namaste

  • What Was I Thinking

On average we have 60,000 thoughts a day. 95% of those are the same thought we had the day before. I'm thinking this was what thrusted individuals toward meditation. Just observing the mind...watching...without any judgement, labels or becoming a part of the minds endlessness. Bringing the mind to a stillness helps to emerge more creative, innovative ideas , along with more inner peace. We cannot have peace in our world unless we can acquire inner peace, one by one. Savoring each moment of inner peace as we might savor a piece of chocolate. Savor each moment of loving kindness.....Peace

  • Pain

Yes, even those of us with our own business experience pain Charley Brown. Pain is something to be experienced in a new light. When we have thoughts and attitudes surrounding our pain we can and often do make it worse. This is both physical and emotional, mental, pyschological and any other kind of pain you may have incurred. Try instead simply feeling the pain without adding the mind. I say simply, ok, maybe not at first. Practice. Feel sad, without thought, feel just the energy behind the pain. We are all energy, everything we experience is energy and we need not percieve any such energy as good, bad or indifferent...we may simply feel. In yoga, we call this the relax and feel method. No judgement, labels, ideas or thoughts...feel. Often times the pain will dissipate within a short period of time. We can turn a pain into chronic by adding judgements, labels, ideas and thoughts to the feeling...feel just the energy alone in it's purest state...neither positive nor negative. We can do the same with desire...feel the energy of the desire rather than the that which is desired...learn to feel desire and be pleased with the energy itself rather than the need to feed it. Experiment. Science and Yoga 101 Have fun getting to know your mind-body connection!

  • Puuurrrfect!!!

Take the stress out of your life at least temporarily by practicing perfect. Lift the weight from your shoulders. Release neck pain. Let me know if this works for you!! Using your creative imagination, imagine everything...and that means EVERYTHING is perfect in the moment it occurs. Nothing but that which is perfect may occur in each moment. It includes all material, physical, and ethereal matter. It can be practiced no matter where you are or what you are doing. Easier sometimes than others obviously. When you are driving down the street, for instance, imagine each car, every driver, street sign, tree, guard rail, cloud, color, shape, view, building, logo, absolutely everything is perfect in that moment. I guarantee you will have an experience like never before. Looking in the past , imagine the same...everything was perfect exactly as it was for everyone and everything. Looking forward into the future...the same....puuurrrrfect. Creative Imagination and Creative Intelligence are 2 of the most powerful energies we own...One is no more powerful than the other...don't take my word for it...explore it for yourself. Happy Trails

  • Working For Free

Let's be honest. How many of us would love to do our work without a monetary blessing. I began yoga instruction as a volunteer for a youth home with troubled teens. Drug and Alcohol addicted parents. I still absolutely love my work soooo much I would do it for free. I am currently working as a volunteer for a 79 year old woman who has alzheimers and is suicidal. She asked me what I do one day and when I said, "I teach yoga". She said, with astonishment in her voice and eyes, '"they PAY you for that?"Chuckle, Chuckle. I believe many of us especially in the health care market would be happy to work for free. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this subject. Doing volunteer work for that woman is so very different from working for money. My job with her is to lift her spirits. Bring her out of the same old habitual.. depressing thoughts and begin to sing from our heart and focus on what we love...love is a wonderful, fulfilling energy..healing.

  • Will Trade Private or Group Yoga Lessons for...

Whatever it is you do I would consider trading for yoga lessons. I teach everyone from a first time yoga practioner to a seasoned intermediate yogi. If you want gentle, I've got it. If you want power yoga, you will have it. More relaxation, meditation. It's yours. I could use a web designer, perhaps a tatoo artist.Concert tickets. Art. Maybe something I've never considered. Surprise me! A great new friend. Massage. Etc.

  • Is it what Biznik can do for me or what I can do for Bizknik?

Hi Everyone, I'm brand spanking new to Biznik. I'm a yoga instructor who has been practicing a variety of styles of yoga for 14 years now. Began learning the philosophy of the mind-body connection 20 years ago. I now teach at local institutions and corporations who offer this delight to the employees. It's meant for you if you're on your way to perfect health (near perfect? almost perfect? somewhere close to perfect?) It starts out with beginning GENTLE yoga. It's great for the bones, muscles, blood, internal organs, joints, hormones, emotions, brain chemicals, balance, self confidence and self awareness. What more could you ask for? Anyone can reap benefits!
