Barney became a partner after 3 years of practice at the firm, and has been the largest business originator for the past 4 years. Colleen Barney doesn't just work hard when it comes to her career; she is also heavily involved in her community, and finds it very important to donate to charitable causes. Ms. Barney donates to the University of Michigan and the American Cancer Society. Donating money, however, isn't the only thing that Barney finds important, as she himself is also very much involved in community service. Colleen has worked to collect and deliver supplies to the Poli Village School in Tanzania, and worked on the Board of Human Options. Barney received her B.S. in History and Philosophy from Central Michigan University, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.9 GPA.
