What Connie does

I help you find space in your body that you might have lost along the way through KMI Structural Integration, an advanced style of massage therapy.

I start by looking at both what is working well in your structure and what might be creating challenges physically. Then in sessions designed just for you, we work together using myofascial release techniques with your movement to free up restrictions layer by layer. The combination creates lasting change in the natural balance of your body that takes less energy to maintain, and more energy is available for other focuses in your life.

What Connie does best

I work with scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills, intuition, and an open mind to help each individual client feel more comfortable in their own body in whatever way is most effective for them.

I work in harmony with both the what is and the what is possible in my clients.

I work respectfully, professionally, and skillfully to the best of my ability every day.

What does Connie need?

New clients. The ideal client for Stuctural Integration work, and my work in particular, is someone who has some kind of pain or restriction that is holding them back from doing what they really want to do in life. This is especially true if the pain has been there for years and you have resigned yourself to just living with it, since nothing else has worked. Take just one more chance and try this - you have nothing to lose.

Experience

I have been practicing massage full-time (sole source of income) since June 2003.

I worked my first 3-1/2 years at Lakeside Chiropractic (in Wallingford) doing 80 to 85% injury treatment massage and 15 to 20% relaxation massage with 15 to 23 contact hours a week those 3-1/2 years.

I have been in private practice since July 2006, and have worked out of private practice offices and as a subcontractor in that time. I now practice exclusively at my own office in Fremont.

My latest experience is in the form of teaching - I am assistant teaching with Lauren Christman in the Anatomy Trains workshops.
