Important Differences - I spent 10 years managing projects and designing products as an Engineer. I've remodeled numerous homes, owned numerous rentals, built from the ground up, sold multi-unit complexes, and even developed vacant land. I'm not your typical Realtor... Status - I'm not big on awards...I'm more into making sure each client gets the best. But the awards and training help show who is doing the business...so here is a quick snapshot. For RE/MAX in a four state region I am consistently ranked in the Top 50 agents for the year...yet when you call you get me...not an assistant. I was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2007, was presenter early in my career as an agent to watch when I was with Windermere at their symposium. I am an Associate Broker, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR). I meet with top agents from all over the country every year to further hone my skills. I think I bring a lot to the table...I believe I am the best choice, but I do listen...some of my best marketing ideas have come directly from my clients...
Where I work - King & Southern Snohomish County. My office is on the eastside, but I grew up in Seattle, owned numerous properties there, and know it like the back of my hand. Working both side of the lake as an obvious advantage for people new to the area...but it is also a great negotiating benefit. Seattle tends to set the early market trend and historically Seattle agents do business differently (working via handshake versus fax machine). Blending the styles and knowledge makes me a better agent regardless of which side of the lake I am on. Plus I have a broader base of colleagues to draw from to market your home to, or to find out about homes coming on the market. And...I love character and challenges of the older Seattle homes.
