Experience
I've been working in the technology innovation, think tank and interactive product design industries as an ethnographer and user experience consultant as part of innovation groups for the past several years. Previously I worked as an artist and designer in interior design, fashion, theater and film in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Both careers have involved applying research to design goals and I have a broad perspective on what this means. This theme carries forward into my work as Founding Director of the Pacific Ethnographic Research Center where I apply ethnographic research to the design of education, advocacy and entrepreneurial activities.
