I'm a website developer turned social entrepreneur with a passion for community building. For me, business isn't just a way to make a living - it's a form of self-expression. Biznik started out as a group of Seattle friends meeting regularly, and it's evolving into an international community of like-minded independent business people who face the same challenges and opportunities and a desire to learn from each other.

Building a business is hard, often lonely, uncertain work. But one thing's clear: When you're small, collaboration definitely beats competition. Biznik can help you to create and sustain connection with people in your area, laying the groundwork for successful growth of your business.

I'm best at team building and collaboration. I love working on interesting, cool projects with fun, talented people, and don't mind constraints - I enjoy finding ways to do a lot with a little.

A creative, mutli-talented web developer. We need someone with solid javascript, css and html skills, who is proficient at developing in Ruby on Rails (or can learn quickly, based on significant prior experience with more than one programming language). This will be a junior level position, and you'll be working with two senior developers.

This is an opportunity to be employee number 6 at a startup that is already generating significant revenue, and work in a collaborative environment. This will initially be a contract position, but this will grow into full-time including stock options package if the fit is good and we're all happy.
