I'm a therapist, writer and teacher, enthusiastic about the personal success of the people I meet. In my private practice I work with individuals and couples. While dealing with many issues, I specialize in the sacred love relationship (dating, engagement, marriage). Why is romance more than novel excitement? It is an intense experience of validation, and validation is what fuels our greatest dreams and achievements. My workshops focus on creating a deeply satisfying life with the person closest to your heart. Backed by national research and years of private practice, participants learn how to integrate romance and life purpose.

I'm best at applying validation to personal lives and relationships. Whether this means forging justice and healing for past events, using personality based insight to untangle your emerging path or creating new patterns of relating to your sweetheart, I strongly draw from both compassion and science to help clients clarify their best future. Hallmarks of my practice and teaching are clarity and compassion.

I need a publisher. I'm writing a book and it is coming along well. I need contacts with agents, etc, to follow up and get the book to print!

-I earned a BA in Biblical Literature from Northwest University (1988).

-After taking a break from the academics for some real life fieldwork, I returned to Bastyr University to earn an MA in Applied Behavoral Science (1998).

Since graduating with my MA, I spent two years in the community mental health setting working with the chronically mentally ill. Case loads of 65 kept us hopping! This was an experience-rich time as I studied under Psychiatrists totaling 35 years experience in this challenging field. I've been in private practice since, applying the in-depth knowledge of human nuts and bolts to help adults thrive in healing, mission and relationship.

I've been teaching workshops for 12 years, using humor, real life experiences and clarity to entertain and enlighten.

Before that I milked cows, bought right-of-way for a pipeline and was a youth pastor for a summer...just thought you might want to know!
