  • Mike you are spot on.

I too am amazed at the lack of attention and follow through I experience when I attempt to conduct business on all too many occasions. It shouldn't surprise us when times are difficult, how many businesses struggle when they fail to abide by these universal axioms of success.

I appreciate this timely review of tried and true methodology for not only generating new business, but in the maintenance of a business referral network you already have.

    I appreciate this insightful article.

  • Nice article. All these tips help us to better separate the grain from the chaff in terms of delineating our purpose and our desired clientele.

    Thanks.

  • I enjoy your writing style and how you frame your subject matter.

It is very helpful and inspirational.

  • Chris,

Your candor is both humorous and direct. Did you refine your writing skills penning obits for the "F'ed Company" website?

Dispensing with the pleasantries, and directly into the realities, that is the Chris we know and love!

  • A very appropriate affirmation for the small business and solopreneurs out there. I believe your three steps are easy to understand, although, self admittedly, sometimes challenging to follow.

This is why it is a good and necessary tool for evaluating key elements of how we operate our respective businesses. Thanks.

  • I've enjoyed meeting you, and I do believe you are right minded in your assessment of the best work environment--a fun one!

Most businesses seem to underestimate and underappreciate their human resouce-the employees themselves, much to their detriment in terms of continuity and profitability.

To quote Elizabeth Lee, that is why I too chose to find my own path, and forsake working for THE MAN. This has helped me to bring the humor and the fun back into what I do, because it has freed me up to benefit and learn from those who have been there and done that as you have.

I expect that the Biznik community will be a welcome recipient of more of your wisdom in these matters? Thank You.

    Nice article, Zita.

  • Elizabeth,

Good crew last night with good energy. Yes, happy hour, always a good bet. Follow the salesman's lead, young though he may be.

  • This is an interesting concept, although somewhat counter-intuitive on the initial read based upon my chosen profession and related experience. That being said, I am interested in benefitting from your wisdom on this subject first hand, which I will do in tomorrow evening's workshop.

Your article's candor and humor are much appreciated.

  • Try J.R. Vargas with V & V Services. He does a great job, and is fairly priced.

I have the standard 5000 sf Seattle lot. I get my lawn mowed, edged and blown 2 times per month, which seems to work for me. Give J.R. a call and tell him I referred you.
