  She made an effort to schedule the event on a day different from what they had been doing when I asked of the possibility. After meeting her, it was no surprise - she made you (and the entire group) feel at ease and open up.

  The event was fun, engaging, and very helpful. It was clear that even though we all have very different businesses, we can all help bring a new perspective to our challenges. A real tribute to the theory behind BizNik - networking works ... and doesn't suck :-)

  Additionally, Dani is a good listener - she can catch the feeling behind what you're saying and call you it - so I know I still have work to do! It's good to have someone say "are you listening to yourself?" to keep us in check. So again, networking works in ways we may not think.
