Sound proofing? Any good suggestions?

Hello out there! I am in the process of doing a little soundproofing for a room I use and I'd love any feedback about the good (hopefully lots of good), the bad and the ugly from those who've worked with this before.

The specs: I'm trying to keep sound out, not in, and some of it is bass vibration coming through the floor. I also am looking for options that don't involve messing with the current drywall or installing more. It's a small room with no windows.
