Hi, PJ.
After getting just a blurb of how you write thru the question you posted I don't think you need to worry about blogging. In my opinion your writing sounds mature and concise; I say go for it and start blogging! You will probably find that it gets easier with each post and be able to refine the message you're trying to convey to your subscribers.
Good Luck!
Hi, Bill.
Thank you for suggesting Practice Pay Solutions and thank you for finding value in having a VA!
Yes, I do have a Web site, Jessie! www.egghead-va.com
Hi, Viv.
Yes, all of this social networking can be a bit overwhelming. I am currently using Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. At this time I like Facebook far better than the others for the simple reason that it feels like a social place. I can post updates on my status, join groups, become a fan of something of interest to my target market, and even send out well wishes to friends/colleagues. What I have found with LinkedIn is that I can become connected to others, but then what? I have joined groups but that seems to be nothing more than adding a badge to my profile; nothing has come of those groups for me. Twitter is good for just sending out status updates and replying to others.
Thank you for the heads-up, Karin. I just posted over at the link you forwarded to me.
Great topic, Jessie! I am a Virtual Assistant specializing in serving "green" solopreneurs; architects, engineers, organic gardeners, sustainability experts, etc. The beauty of my business is that I work from home (no commuter pollution on my end), complete most projects on the computer (no paper trail like you see in an office environment) and spend a lot of time spreading the good "green" word. I'm anxious to be involved in an environmentally friendly group that truly is involved. I've joined a number of so-called "groups" thru LinkedIn and the likes and feel like they've been nothing more than a way of placing a badge on my profile.
Thank you for your warm welcome's! I'm so glad to hear that there is so much "green" momentum here at Biznik. I look forward to getting to know many of you.
I'm relatively new to LinkedIn but have made a number of connections and joined some groups too. Like others mentioned in previous posts the groups portion has not been worthwhile to me; maybe I need to do a little more work in that area. Nicely written article, Dani.
Hi, Dawn.
I'm fairly new to Biznik and am looking forward to connecting with other VA's. Hope to chat with you soon.
