Lindsay, yet another great article. This is very helpful. I definitely need to nail down my own USP!

As with all things, playing too much emphasis on any one aspect (like google rankings) can be detrimental even if well-intentioned. The same goes for over designed websites.

And I agree, an over-simplified website can be harmful as well. It's a delicate balance!
