  • Partners in Excellence -

Hi! Welcome to the Westside! I created this group after the lunchtime Biznik Mastermind session held today, thinking we need a place to keep up with all the good things we talked about in the meeting.

We talked about meeting monthly to touch base, brainstorm and mastermind. What day works best for everyone?

Out of the following, please pick one and let me know your preference:

First Monday of the month Second Monday of the month First Tuesday of the month Second Tuesday of the month

Meetings will continue to be at noon. I have to see what works with Elmer's since that worked out well. Anyone else have a better place in mind, though?

I took the initiative to start this group just because I move fast. The group belongs to all with all being equal partners.

Let me know your thoughts ASAP so we can get moving forward.

  • New article - What's important.

I posted a new article 3 weeks ago and forgot to mention it. So far I've received no reviews or reads. Please take a peek? Thanks.

  • Personal coaching available

Are you doing what you were born to do or what you've been told to do? I can help you figure it out!

I'll toss 3 of my personal coaching programs into the barter mix. (These usually involve 5-7 sessions each). Do you have a project coming up? Starting a new business? For more information about the program contact me.

In return - make me an offer. Let's see what I can use.

  • Finding list partners

How do you get other people with larger online lists to help you announce your programs? I network with many other speakers and always distribute their announcements if they work for mine. However, so far, they have not returned the favor when I have announcements that I know will work for theirs.

Is there a magic process? Help?

  • A Special Invitation - Bounce Radio

I am delighted to invite you to my new radio show on BlogTalk Radio. It's called Bounce Onto Your Feet and the first show will be August 21, 2008 at 11:30 PST. Bounce Radio will focus on recovering from perceived setbacks, overcoming adversity and, in spite of everything in the way, making dreams a reality.

BlogTalk Radio, launched in August 2006, is a wonderful way to be heard (pun intended). It is the social radio network that allows users to connect quickly and directly with their audience. Using an ordinary telephone and computer, you can create free, live, call-in talk shows with as many participants as you can entice that are automatically archived and made available as podcasts. No special software is required, all you need is a phone (and stay tuned - you don't even need that!!!). Listeners can subscribe to shows via RSS into iTunes and other feed readers.

2.6 million listeners a month (and growing) and thousands of passionate hosts are using the network to share information, extend their business brands, discuss politics, news, the latest celebrity gossip, sports and other topics. BlogTalkRadio offers programs in more than 70 content categories ranging from Art to Youth, with the most popular being Politics, Sports, Entertainment and Business.

What's really wonderful, in my humble opinion, is that you can call in for your show (and have your participants call in) using a landline, a cell phone, even Skype which allows all sorts of people to call in. Skype provides a way for international callers to call in which allows you global presence! You don't need a special microphone, computer peripherals or editing software to do a great show. (If you have Audacity, you can edit for clarity before you repurpose for podcasts - and you can get as tricky as you want).

My first guest, for August 21 is John Xuerbe of Bodies 'N Motion. He has a truly inspiring and amazing story to share. John has recovered from things that would send most of us to a comfy rubber room but he's making daily contributions to the lives of hundreds of peoples with empathy, caring and purpose.

My next guest on September 4 will be my friend, Barry Moltz, author of Bounce: The Path to True Business Confidence and You Have To Be A Little Crazy The Truth About Starting and Growing Your Own Business. Barry approaches life with humor and delightful positivism but an attitude that is founded in good, old-fashioned business horse sense. More on this next time.

Please join me for my first show with John. Also, feel free to contact me for more info about BTR!

  • WANTED: Website design services/hosting

I need a couple of websites designed and/or hosted. In return I offer my services as a business coach and innovator. My requirements are fairly simple (compared to some of the sites I see). I need to be able to access the sites directly to handle updates and offer downloadable products as well as workshop registrations, but other than that, pretty static.

If not design, I need hosting. I have 3 domains I want to transfer from my current host and need a host.

Perhaps we can work something out to benefit both of us!

Contact me at info@deborahbeatty.com or leave a message here.

    Thanks
