Low levels are associated with fatigue, muscle aches, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, multiple sclerosis, early onset diabetes, etc. For less than $100.00, in my funky and unique Georgetown office, I can draw your blood and know within a few days the status of your vitamin D levels. If your levels are low and I'm sure they are, I have the best quality and most absorbed Vitamin D available to medical professionals and will offer specific advice, i.e. how many IU's (it's not hundreds like in a multivitamin but thousands) and how long to supplement until we retest.
