It is funny how life changes your plans so quickly, just when you think you have them figured out.

It is funny how life changes your plans so quickly, just when you think you have them figured out.

I am just starting out my new career as a travel photographer. My work will be at the Mercer Island Art Walk in August 2008 (a big thanks to Helen and Elizabeth!). I will get my framing done with Criss & Juanita from BizNik.

One of my photos was just chosen to be on display at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center from October 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009. The display is open to the public and free of charge to view. My photo that was chosen is the view of the Space Needle at night time. The second photograph under Washington gallery on my website.

I am thankful for my full-time job now as a Pediatric ICU nurse, this allows me the time and freedom to explore and start my new career in photography. I am planning on moving overseas in January 2009 to work as a Neonatal ICU nurse. But I am learning to go with the flow of life wherever it takes me. This has completely altered my life so far and who knows where I will end up, but I know I will have a great time along the way.

I was intending to try out Health Care Writing, but feel the need to follow my heart. I love traveling and have had many great experiences already. Right now I am focusing on photography, but will really start working on my travel writing next year.
