What Dina does
I do graphic design/illustration; I do digital photography and photo-retouching. I publish costume how-to books; I do theatrical costume design and dabble in theater/dance.
What Dina does best
I have many creative talents.
I'm a good artist; I do both handmade artwork and computer graphics, using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and and desktop publishing programs.
I'm an expert seamstress and costume designer. I have theater experience: dance and comedy.
What does Dina need?
Mostly I would like to brainstorm and schmooze with other creative and progressive business owners.
I hire a printer five or six times a year for my books.
Education
Maryland Institute of Art, BA in Illustration
Experience
As a freelance artist, I have created graphics, logos, illustrations, flyers and so on since the 80s. I did portraiture and caricature art for years.
I've designed a number of websites and have self-published 7 books, which are distributed internationally. I did the illustration, photography, and page layout for all of them. I manage the retail and wholesale orders.
I've designed and restyled costumes for dozens of professional dancers and brides.
I am also a liberal activist and have started a site for political art: "Citizen Artiste," which has a link on my business homepage, "Costume Goddess".
