  I worked with Margaret in January this year, experiencing a short series of four NUCCA adjustments in as many weeks. By the fifth week I was holding my new alignment.

  I have very high sensitivity to my body, so what I share may be more than what you will experience for yourself. Here are a few benefits I noticed:

  1. My complaint was years-long tension and stiffness in my neck and upper back, and pain down the right side of my body, all the way into the joints of my leg. Today that pain and tension is now 80% gone, and continuing to get better.

  2. After my first adjustment, I stood up and felt an immediate difference in my balance. It took me a day or two to get used to it. I felt myself standing more erect, with more balance.

  3. My balance improved. I found myself simply lifting up my foot to tie my shoe without thinking about it.

  4. (This is the oddest one.) I noticed after my third adjustment, walking home, that my voice felt stronger and sounded more resonant. I sang most of the way home. Something about the realignment of my head on my spine changed the openness of my larynx and allowed more of my true voice to come through. Very cool!

  5. I am continuing to learn postural adjustments on my own to find greater balance and ease in my body. In the past I would try to stretch and make these adjustments to no avail. Nothing would stick. Now I am making progress and every week finds me feeling better about the structural integrity of my body.

  OK, so I'm going to just flat out say it: Go see Margaret. By the time we're adults, most of us have sustained enough knocking-about to throw our heads off their proper axis. And when that top joint is askew, the whole darned spine goes wonky trying to make up for it. If you're having chronic problems of almost any kind, consider this. It's a short treatment, very focused, very precise, and you'll know in your first visit if it's even something you need.
