What Dreama does

I help people of all ages--elders, adults, teens, children-- find ways to express difficult feelings in positive ways using art materials and methods. I show them how to use art to contain these difficult feelings so that they can step back from them and look at them with new eyes. I help them find new ways of seeing their lives through their artistic expressions, through symbols and icons, and through looking back at their continuum of work over time. I show them that they can build new realities, find new ways of being, create new insights by studying their personal visual framework of line, imagery, words, color, and shape! Last of all, but just as important, I help them see how to communicate with their art work....and thus, with themselves and others learning about the power of the unconscious. I am a reiki master. I am advanced in my use of Emotional Freedom Technique.

What Dreama does best

I think the best thing I do is "hold space for healing." In other words, I meet my clients in an environment of positive regard and honoring. I feel my strengths include--my commitment to an attitude of genuine caring and the desire to understand; my love and passion for creativity and my ability to inspire that in others; my intuitive and gentle way of assessing and reframing the necessary information for understanding and insight.

What does Dreama need?

Referrals and opportunities to share my work with others. I would be happy to bring your group or organization a brief, low-cost (or free, if you are non-profit) demonstration/information seminar. My 30-minute free consultation is extended to organizations that would like to consider my services on an on-going basis. Of particular interest to me are the following: organizations that want to offer bi-monthly wellness groups to employee teams for stress management and team building; organizations that serve people--adults, families, children that are homeless; clinics that serve children and adults with disabilities or chronic illnesses; and more. It doesn't hurt to email me to ask! Just send your thoughts to dreamab@gmail.com
