  • Thank you Tshombe for coming to Bellingham and facilitating this event. I especially liked when you mentioned that we are all one of a kind and the only true competition is with ourselves. What a great group we had, all giving and receiving. It makes me feel like if we were all in the same business there would be no way to fail. Thank you also to Mike at Exit Realty for hosting this event.

  • Hi Mario I would have loved to have made this but I have previous commitments. I would have juggled had I known earlier. Please keep us informed.

  • Hi everyone, after looking carefully for a group to join, I'm talking select each icon to see what you do, who you are and what your philosophy is ... I really like the result I found here! You are a heady group in a vertical elevator.

I work in an elegant office complex that allows flow through traffic for part of my day, I work at my home on the hill when I want to be undisturbed and I work in the public schools when I want to teach others. I love my job and I love the internet.

  • Thank you everyone, Trina you are so right about the entrepreneur holding a vision and following your heart to achieve it. This is the strength needed to persist and exist as an entity of value.

  • Thank you Jim, Dennis and Eero What a great event. The statistics on video marketing were very interesting. Eero, your video of Mongolia was awesome. I'm so glad I attended and got the hand out (and the door prize). It was also nice to meet others who are interested in video.

  • This event was very cool. I met and exchanged cards with some interesting people. I especially liked the business card board with participants stating their desires below their cards. Thank you Scott, Adam and the Northwest Business Monthly team.

  • My suggestion, let's all wear brightly colored clothing, it's fiesta time. Thanks for the invite.

  • Thank you Elke, yes to the lighthouse. It sometimes seems like the entire group is dark until someone speaks out positively. If we are persistent, that light sets other lamps aglow and we can now see a clear vision of each other. I also appreciate the water analogy as our bodies consist of 55% to 78% water. As we cast light upon the water, it reflects back to shine even brighter.

  • I attended this event. It was great to meet three new people. We had so much fun we began planning a Biznik trip together, I'll let Lori explain that one when she's ready.

  • Hey thanks for the tip Hsuan-Hua Chang. I did check out the Harvard Business article and I am now subscribed to their Daily Stat and weekly hotlist. It is all quite interesting.

  • Hi Hsuan-Hua Chang I'm glad you asked this question. I wrote a completely new business plan last April and now the year is looking back at me with a grimace. Now I realize how naive I have been in thinking my goals would remain the same throughout the year - how was I to know the economy would test me? Still I am forever grateful that I wrote the plan I can ignore in the days approaching my test year end. Now I know how much a business plan is like a living, breathing website. Changing, adjusting and reflecting on what works, what doesn't and what will become the approaching year business goals.

  • Suzi writes it, I get the credit - go figure. Yes Roy, the credit goes to Suzi. Listening is a precious skill, if you listen long enough, people will tell you what they want. When you know what they need you'll know weather or not your service is a good fit.

  • Good information Zeke, blogging is a time eating strip down for some people, for others it's a living. I like seeing actual resources and links that are useful rather than bouncing around on opinions. Not all blogs are created equal - this one is worth following.
